With such an array of experience and knowledge in the sporting arena, SMW who are the licensed owners of the Sydney Blue Sox (SBS) aims to make the Blue Sox the #1 ball club on & off the field in the ABL (Australian Baseball League).

Essential

Mainly based at the Blacktown International Sports Park and our Head Office Norwest, the SBS Operations Manager supports the Sydney Blue Sox Season Event in planning and delivering as well as the day-to-day operations of the venue during the event.

​

As the successful candidate, must be passionate and will be busy managing administration duties, setting up event/functions to satisfy venue hire agreements/budgets, and liaising with the ABL and potential sponsors.

You will provide operational support to our volunteers, partners, marketing team and manage our operations coordinator, providing information, reports and advice to management.

​

The SBS Operations Manager is a key player in forming and upholding player and stakeholder relationships providing services supporting our sporting community groups as well as private and public organisations.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications

• National Police / Criminal History Check

• Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check

• Drivers Licence

• Event Management Skills and Experience

• Sponsorship Sales & Execution

• Ability to manage and orient tasks

• Ability to travel interstate if required

• Ability to manage a budget

• Professional
