About the Camp
Sports Camps Australia has partnered with Office of Sport and Luccas Football to deliver ‘play and stay’ camps hosted at Sport and Recreation venues across NSW. These camps are designed to give each participant the true camp experience - with a focus on sport-specific skills, fun, friendships, developing well-rounded athletes and creating life-long memories.
Well credentialed and industry respected coaches will take the participants through activities and games that refine and develop the skills of each athlete. The camp will also include sessions on topics such as technical analysis, nutrition and mindfulness/wellbeing. In addition, camp participants will also have access to a number of existing activities available on site including such things as kayaking, court sports, bikes and a number of other team and confidence building activities. All camp participants are provided with accommodation to rest their head at the end of an action-packed day, with nutritious meals and refreshments provided throughout the day.
Our Soccer partner, Luccas Football will be responsible for the delivery of this camp. LF is an elite independent soccer academy which has been coaching and developing talented players in Australia for 10 Years with a focus on technique and taking a kids passion to the next level.
Camp Coaches:
Head Coach - Luccas Pereira
Head Coach Luccas Pereira hailing from Rio Claro in Brazil, moved to Sydney and began coaching back in 2012. Luccas played professionally back in his homeland for the likes of Ponte Preta, Atletico Paranaense and also represented the Brazilian national under 15’s team. Through Luccas’s passion for football it has led him to be an extremely successful coach and football mentor.

The Venue:
Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre is located on the Hawkesbury River and is accessible by boat only. Campers will depart from Brooklyn Wharf. The venue is owned and managed by the Office of Sport, the lead NSW Government agency for sport and active recreation.
All activities will be conducted on site at Broken Bay. Camp participants will stay in dormitory-style accommodation with full overnight supervision. Meals will be prepared and served by Sport and Recreation centre staff, and consumed in the main dining hall as a collective group.

Camp Duration:
3 days/2 nights
- The camp will commence at 10.00am on 11th April.
- The camp will conclude at 3pm on 13th April.

Camp Meals:
All meals and refreshments will be provided by Sport and Recreation for the entirety of the camp and are included in the overall package
