SMW Rugby Union Coaches & Athlete Program

Sports Management Worldwide (SMW) has partnered with NSW Rugby and the NSW Waratahs to provide private schools rugby union coach education at an elite level throughout Asia.

As a first step in developing rugby talent in Asia and the opportunity to identify talent into a Rugby Union Pathway, this high performance coach/athlete program is unique in Asia for developing high performance coaches and athletes.

Day 2 & 3 involves the delivery of the camp by NSW Rugby and Waratahs coaches with the assistance of Dulwich Rugby coaches. 

Camp Highlights Include:

• Learn from the best with NSW Rugby and NSW Waratahs Coaches 
• Perfecting technique – passing, kicking and tackling
• Improved decision making with and without the ball
• Confidence and team-building activities
• Every camper will receive a Under Armour Pack

Camp Hours:

• DAY 1: 12:30pm - 6:30pm
• DAY 2: 9.00am - 3.00pm

• Warm up and warm up games 
• Catch / Pass 
• Attack V Defence Drills 
• Attack V Defence Games 
• Contact skills - Tackle / Ruck 
• Forwards - Set piece scrum & lineout 
• Backs - Set piece scrum & lineout 
• Team attack 
• Team defence 
• Decision making games - Mini tournament, short games with prizes

• Meals Are Not included

• Year 7 and above (11 - 18 year olds)

• A detailed registration pack will be sent to you once you register your child for camp. This pack entails all the details for the camp and the disclosed forms are required to be brought to the first day of camp.
