SMW Whizz Kidz Global Chefs Camp

During our Global Chef Camps our campers will explore a different country each day whilst learning and experiencing different types of dances, art and traditions through hands-on activities. 

Each day campers will learn about and create a dish from the country of the day.

The goal is to ensure that all campers leave the camp with more cooking knowledge and enjoying spending time with friends or making new friends.

Camp Highlights Include:

• Cook a different dish each day to take home
• Learn about different cultures around the world
• Exposure to different cooking techniques, cuisines and equipment
• Each camper will recieve an Under Armour product

• 9:00am - 12:00pm Daily

DAY 1:

- Welcome to Canada

- Maple leaf art

- Butter Tarts (Cooking Time)

DAY 2:

- Welcome to India

- Create clay diya

- Murukku (Cooking Time)

DAY 3:

- Welcome to Japan

- Food groups and food hygiene

- Sushi (Cooking Time) 

DAY 4:

- Welcome to Greece

- Greek mythology

- Spanakopita (Cooking Time)

DAY 5:

- Welcome to Italy

- Miniature food clay models

- Pizza (Cooking Time)

Camp Meals:

• Meals Are Not included, however can bring a snack to camp in between breaks

Camp Age:

• 7 - 12 year olds

Camp Gender:

• Coed

Camp Skill Level:

• The camp is open for every student with no prerequisite skills needed

Registration Pack

• A detailed registration pack will be sent to you once you register your child for camp. This pack entails all the details for the camp and the disclosed forms are required to be brought to the first day of camp.
