FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools In Asia) began in 1988 as an information-sharing and discussion group among a small group of international schools offering a British-style curriculum in regions far removed from their home base.

The Federation has grown over the past 30 years into an organisation that is known and respected across Asia and beyond.
​
Today, FOBISIA is a membership association of quality-assured and accredited British schools in Asia; The Federation currently has more than 94 Member Schools including schools such as Brunei, China, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, and Vietnam.
THE 'FRIENDLY GAMES'
The FOBISIA Games is made up of both individual sports events and team sports that offer student athletes a fantastic opportunity to compete at the highest levels and an opportunity for FOBISIA students to form friendships with their peers across the globe.

After a lay off due to COVID-19 we are proud to welcome the games back with a new home at Pattana Sport Resort in Thailand.
Our aim is to provide a positive, inspiring and memorable experience for all involved. At the heart of our organisation is the motivation to create an environment that offers an opportunity for our competitors to realise their potential, foster personal growth and engage with other athletes, forming lasting friendships in the context of ‘The Friendly Games’.
